Hmm, the only spot I've ever done didn't turn out too bad. It was this pilot's first time flying with me in the plane. I sat in the student position. My friend was actually spotting. I just leaned out the door and looked down. My buddy would tap me on the legs for the corrections. I would look back at the pilot and jerk my thumb and yell the correction. My buddy said that the pilot looked at me, rather strangely, then looked at him, my friend just stared back, and then the pilot shrugged and turned the plane. My worst spot would have to be either the tree story, (short spot and no radios), or the time my spotter was giving me odds on whether we'd make the DZ. On the first pass he said we had a 75% chance. I agreed but as I started to climb out he changed his mind and we did a go around. On the second pass he gave us a 95% chance. We went. After opening my friend had to fly side-by-side with me yelling directions because we were to far away for the radio guy to even see me.
